Early Membership Form--New Members
Membership in MGNE is open to everyone interested in monotypes/monoprints.
The benefits of membership in MGNE are:
- A variety of shows, both open and juried, in the New England area.
- Exposure to a wider audience.
- A quarterly newsletter with articles, upcoming events, and a place to post your recent show news or awards. Workshops and get-togethers with other members to discuss methods and ideas.
- Visiting lecture demonstrations from artists around the nation. An opportunity to meet other artists, gallery owners, museum personnel, and monotype buyers. Have pictures of your work, resumes, and artist statements in our slide and resume books, and on the Web. These books are viewed by prospective galleries and museums when planning shows.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
There is no jurying requirement for membership in MGNE; however, individual exhibitions may or may not be juried. MGNE operates through voluntary participation of its members, who are expected to contribute to Guild activities. All members will receive MGNEws. Membership begins every year on July 1st. Any first-time member joining on or after April 1st, will have membership through June 30th, plus the entire next fiscal year, July 1 - June 30th.
The Monotype Guild of New England offers four categories of membership:
Artist Membership
is open to artists who work in monotype/monoprint. Artist members have exhibiting and voting privileges and are eligible to hold office or board memberships.
ANNUAL DUES: $35.00 (Seniors 65+: $30.00)
Student Membership
Is open to all matriculating (enrolled in a degree program) students in an art school, college or university. Student members have exhibiting and voting privileges and are eligible to hold office or board memberships.
ANNUAL DUES: $15.00

First Year Post Graduate Student Membership
During the first year following a student’s graduation from a four-year art school,
college, or university, MGNE will provide a one-year FREE membership to that student. The year will follow our fiscal calendar, July 1 through June 30 of the following year. During that year, or any portion thereof, the individual will receive our newsletter, may enter competitions, and be allowed to place 3 images on our MGNE website gallery.
Sustaining Membership
is open to individuals or corporate sponsors who are interested in and supportive of the arts. Sustaining member receive invitations to all MGNE sponsored events and exhibitions. The various levels are as follows. (These categories are tax deductible).
Friend $35-$99
Patron $100-$499
Benefactor $500 + Note: |

WEBPAGE GUIDELINES
Only active members will be featured in the Gallery on the MGNE website. To maintain their presence on the website and in the presentation book, their membership should be renewed by August 31st. each year.
- There is a limit of three images per member.
- Once the web page is up, no changes can be made until the member renews their membership the following year.
- Jpg images must be emailed to the website maintainer or sent by mail on a CD.
- Images must be 300 dpi and measure approximately 3” x 5”.
- Artist’s statement must be emailed as an attachment as a Word document or appear in the body
of the email.
