Eligibility: The Monotype Guild of New England invites MGNE members in good standing to submit up to two large 2-D monotypes and monoprints for a juried exhibition at Gateway Gallery at Great Bay Community College.

Members may submit two pieces for consideration which have not been shown at a previous MGNE exhibit for a fee of $25.00. The MINIMUM print size of any submission must be 660 square inches (image only, not to include mat).  There is no maximum size. Work that differs significantly from the image submitted may be refused by the juror upon arrival.

Entry Procedure: Each artist may submit up to two prints. Diptychs and triptychs will count as one entry.

Digital Submission: To apply, complete the online application form and pay the fee online as instructed.

Only JPEG files will be accepted. JPEGs must be 1800 pixels on the longest side and have a resolution of 300 dpi. JPEGs must be titled this way: last name_first name_entry# (example: smith_jane_2.jpg).

Note: When your submission is complete via the entrythingy dashboard, please type your full name when prompted and click the Paypal button to pay your entry fee. When payment is complete, you will receive confirmation from paypal. There will be a 24-72 hour delay via the entrythingy dashboard as to when your entry will be marked as submitted. For questions about the submission process, please contact

Publicity: By entering this exhibition, each artist grants consent for the use of submitted images for publicity and for educational purposes by both MGNE and Zullo Gallery.

Release: It is agreed that MGNE, its members and/or volunteers will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to entrants’ work while being transported, stored, hung, exhibited, taken down or otherwise handled during the course of this exhibition. All work will be treated with respect and care.

Framing Requirements: The standard MGNE framing guidelines for this event will be waived given the potential size of your print. We ask you to consider the following: The area is light, open and airy and is used as a meeting place and entrance for the college.  Because of doors that open to the outside, you will want to have some type of weight to your installation to prevent blowing and movement of the work. Your work surface should be protected in some fashion and be assembled in such a way that it can be hung on a wire system that has a hook (see image in gallery on this page). Please include a description of your installation plans with your entry under the section ‘Statement.’ Tacks may not be used in the wall surface.

Insurance: Great Bay Community College does not carry insurance for work on display in this space, but security personnel are present during all open hours.

Sales: Sales will take place between the artists and potential buyers. Great Bay Community College will provide contact information to connect artists with purchasers but takes no commission. The Gateway Gallery will provide a binder with your Bio and CV for prospective purchasers as well. You will be asked to provide this after acceptance into the exhibition.

Delivery/Shipping: Accepted work may be hand delivered to the Gateway Gallery on October 27,2016, 4-8 pm.

All shipped work must be arrive to the Gallery between October 24-28, 2016. You must include a pre-paid return label from UPS or FEDEX with your shipment.  We cannot deliver to the U.S. Post Office. We cannot accept work with packing peanuts.  Please use a sturdy box that can be reused for return. Work arriving late may not be hung.  Work arriving damaged will be returned immediately.  MGNE member volunteers will handle your work with the care and respect that they accord their own work, but we cannot be responsible for damage.
