“The experience of jurying ‘A Small Show of Large Works’ was an honor. Selecting from the submissions was a very daunting task because I loved them all. I was very impressed with the variety of methods and materials, the compositions, use of color and texture and how the techniques informed the aesthetic statement. Dr. Annette Cohen received her BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, an M.Ed. from Antioch New England Graduate School, and her Ph.D. in Leadership and Change from Antioch University. She is an educator by profession and an artist in sensibilities. Her current role as a Professor of Fine Arts and Digital Design includes being a curator for the Gateway Gallery at Great Bay Community College. Her personal work includes drawing, painting, pottery, art history research and digital painting. Her work has been featured in galleries in New England and in Melbourne, Australia. Her passions include visiting galleries and art museums all over the world, and bearing witness to the growth and development of her students.
