ARTIST STATEMENT
Carolyn Flower creates startling landscapes, still lifes, and abstract assemblages through pastels, collages and mono prints. Most recently, her breakthrough artistry has been welcomed by the Collage Artists of America.
Composition and design in each new work represents a step through a creative journey. Each artwork represents a visual timeline with successes in different mediums and processes that challenge new directions. I seek both in my work.
After comprehensive experimentation and exploration, I look forward to engaging others.
