High Line Genesis
22 x 30 monotype, trace monotype, 2014
ARTIST STATEMENT
This current series is inspired by the High Line park in New York City, built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. The series is constructed using a combination of processes; collagraphs, monoprint and trace monotypes. Many of the pieces are then cut out and layered.
