ARTIST STATEMENT
Life is messy and chaotic by nature. It is our duty as individuals to assign it order and reason. I have struggled with understanding Identity for a majority of my life. Since childhood, I’ve had my future meticulously planned out. When plans inevitably change I find myself anxious and depressed. Through the manipulation of materials that do not easily cooperate in my process, I articulate my inner struggles to conquer life’s spontaneity. Anything could go wrong but you take that risk and learn to appreciate the consequence.
