ARTIST STATEMENT
I use both oil-based and water-soluble printing inks on heavy 21” x 17” Japanese Bamboo paper. I transfer the inks by hand, with a very general composition idea in mind. Most of the collage material I use have been created in one way or another for this particular body of work: digital art and drawings I make with Procreate, photos I have taken and altered, and various colored or painted paper materials. In addition to this I use mixed media including oil pastels, watercolor pastels, and markers.
