Paula DeSimone

Intimate Spaces
30 x 48 Monotype Diptych, Danforth Art Museum’s Metrowest Artist Award, 2023

Artist Statement

The exploration of spatial relationships through layers of rich transparent colors describes the visual characteristics of my work. Striking a balance between intuitiveness and an intellectual response to the printmaking process is of itself a work in progress. I continue to be courted by the monotype process and look forward to each session as a new experience.
