Sheila Oliveira

ARTIST STATEMENT

I became interested in silver printing in the darkroom as an undergraduate at the University of Massachusetts. Since that time I have reconnected with what has been a long time visual interest; to transport, connect and interpret life experiences through the immediacy of mono printing. Color, composition and mark making have become my language on paper.
