Join us for online artist meet ups, workshops, studio visits and demos for our members and printmaking community.  Our virtual events will take place online via Zoom.  MGNE membership not required.  Upon registration, you will receive the Zoom login and information.   If you have an idea or would like to host a virutal workshop or studio visit, please email us: connect@mgne.org.

MGNE Virtual Artists Talk for the 11th International Print Biennial Douro:

Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 7-8:30pm ET

MGNE invites you to join our artist members that participated in the 11th International Print Biennial Douro in Portugal last year. Featuring 800 prints by 500 artists from 65 countries, this large-scale international biennial exhibited works in museums and galleries across Portugal’s beautiful Douro Valley between August 10 – October 31, 2023.

Participating MGNE artists will discuss their experiences, talk about their exhibited work, as well as provide an overview of the different locations and exhibitions that made up the Biennial.

Panelists include: Susan Denniston, Lisa Flynn, Sasja Lucas, Carol MacDonald, Suzanne Moseley, Edda Valborg Sigurðardóttir, and Adrián Tió.

This virtual seminar will take place online via Zoom.  Admission is free, but registration is required.    MGNE membership is not required.

After surveying our membership, it was clear that our members are interested in creating opportunities to meet and connect with fellow MGNE members and printmakers in your region and beyond.  We are kicking of this initiative with creating Zoom-based meet-and-greets for the following regions:

International Print Center New York and The Print Center, Philadelphia have come together to aggregate resources related to print and print culture supporting Black Lives Matter and other social justice causes.  This list was born out of the 2020 protests.  It is a work in progress.  Resources include exhibitions, publications, free/low-cost printing, events, organizations, fundraisers, reading lists, and other initiatives.
