Teaching art courses online is a fantastic way to grow your student base, increase your passive income, or add a revenue stream that will be extremely valuable in challenging times like these. During the pandemic, many artist and art organization pivoted to online programming and teaching. Whether you are looking to develop new virutal art workshops or need to transfer an existing art workshop to an online format, this hands-on course is design to get you started.
The Monotype of New England is offering a 12-week course for artists and art administrators in which we will share the tools, methods, and best practices in how to teach virtual art-based programing and courses. In this course, we will cover how to get started teaching online, provide an overview of the tools, equipement and technology needed to teach online courses, review drafting the format and outline for an online workshop, and digital marketing tips for your online course. Participants will be ask to draft an online course and will present a 20-minute workshop.
This online course platform will be hosted via zoom. Scholarships are available upon request.
