ARTIST STATEMENT

Printmaking has been my focus for the last 5 years, The work on paper is informed by over 2 decades as a ceramicist. I have focused on neuronal patterns in the brain and other natural forms. My work is beginning to transition to more narrative themes based on memories and the passage of time.

Working with ink and other media in a variety of methods and transparencies allows exploration of the depth of images on paper. With patterns in nature and elsewhere, work on paper has opened up a new direction for experimentation.
