The Monotype Guild of New England announces its first in-person mail-in exhibition: an open members show entitled Priority Prints at Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill in Poultney, Vermont.  More than 200 works submitted from among MGNE’s members will be shown over three floors in the historic stone building September 3 through October 1.

This exhibit is curated by MGNE member and Stone Valley Arts Executive Director Erika Lawlor Schmidt.  The idea for Priority Prints arrived after a discussion between Lawlor Schmidt and Exhibitions Chair Kate Higley.  “We commiserated about the cost of shipping work around New England” explains Higley, “we came up with the idea of this show, where the work would be mailed via Priority USPS mail—hence the name”.
